GLVC men's basketball action resumes this week with a full slate of cross-division conference play scheduled for Thursday and Saturday. Unbeaten Southern Indiana (12-0, 2-0 GLVC) welcomes William Jewell (3-7, 0-3) on Thursday and Rockhurst (7-4, 1-2) on Saturday. Thursday's featured matchup pits No. 16 Drury (10-1, 3-0) hosting UW-Parkside (10-1, 2-0) at 7:45 p.m. CT. All eight contests will be streamed on GLVCSN.

Quincy and Southern Indiana each won their 13th straight game Thursday night as GLVC men's basketball action resumed. The Hawks edged out a 79-77 win at McKendree, while the Screaming Eagles defeated William Jewell, 88-71. Quncy moved to 4-0 in the West, followed by Drury and Truman State at 3-1. The Panthers dropped a 75-65 decision at home to UW-Parkside, while the Bulldogs went on the road to Illinois Springfield, 83-72. In the East, three other teams join USI at 3-0 in league play, including Bellarmine, Lewis and UW-Parkside. Bellarmine posted a hard-fought 80-71 home win against Rockhurst, and Lewis won on the road at Missouri S&T, 83-62. Elsewhere in the league, Maryville earned a 105-95 shootout win over Saint Joseph's, and UIndy garnered a 64-57 victory at UMSL.

With Lewis' 76-75 upset win at No. 12 Drury Saturday, the Flyers maintain the race in the GLVC East Division along with three other teams at 4-0 in conference play. Bellarmine, Southern Indiana and UW-Parkside all earned victories Saturday to create a four-way tie in the East. USI stayed unbeaten on the year at 14-0, while the Rangers won their 12th straight contest and the Knights moved to 12-2 on the year. In the West, Quincy held off Illinois Springfield, 81-71, to move to 15-1 on the year and 5-0 in GLVC play. One game back of the Hawks is Truman State, which earned a 95-79 win at McKendree to improve to 4-1 in league play and 12-3 overall. Six standouts posted double-doubles on the night, led by GLVC Player of the Week Jeril Taylor of USI with his 27 points and 12 rebounds.
