GLVC women's basketball action returns for the second week in a row with eight games on both Thursday and Saturday with cross-divisional contests. No. 12 Drury (13-2, 5-0 GLVC) enters the week atop the West Division with a GLVC-best five-game winning streak, while No. 4 Bellarmine (12-1, 4-0 GLVC) leads the way in the East. Southern Indiana (12-2, 4-0 GLVC) is the only other team undefeated in league play, while both Lewis (12-3, 4-1 GLVC) and Indianapolis (9-5, 3-1 GLVC) have suffered just one loss to Conference foes. The three top-25 GLVC teams all came away with victories Thursday night, as both Bellarmine and Drury did it on the road while Lewis narrowly defended its home court against Missouri-St. Louis. The Panthers' winning streak was extended to a league-leading six games and are now 6-0 in the league, while Bellarmine has won three in a row and hold a 5-0 GLVC record. Also with a three-game winning streak after Conference victories on Thursday include Southern Indiana – also carrying a 5-0 mark – and Indianapolis, which is 4-1 in the Conference. USI took a 72-67 win at Truman, while UIndy used home court advantage to defeat Missouri S&T 77-55. Drury leads the West Division while Bellarmine and USI are tied atop the East. Additionally, William Jewell head coach Jill Slominski picked up her 400th career win in a 62-55 home win against Illinois Springfield.

Maryville headlines the day of action after knocking off No. 19 Lewis on the road, winning 77-72. Mary Barton (24) and Stephanie Sherwood (21) each scored over 20 points to lead the Saints, and despite the loss, Lewis' Jessica Kelliher carried the Flyers with an astounding 38 points. In addition to the upset, the win was also Maryville's first in league play this season. Meanwhile, Drury extended its GLVC mark to 7-0 along with a Conference-best seven-game winning streak. Panthers' Heather Harman dropped 30 in the contest. Bellarmine and Southern Indiana also remained unbeaten against league foes, as Knights' Raven Merriweather scored 28 points in 29 minutes. Elsewhere, Saint Joseph's evened its GLVC record to 3-3 after a 67-60 win over Missouri S&T, UW-Parkside beat Missouri-St. Louis by a triple and Rockhurst had no trouble with Illinois Springfield in an 86-66 win at home.
