INDIANAPOLIS – With Tuesday’s release of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll, Bellarmine University has earned a consensus top-10 ranking this year.

Following a 2016-17 season in which they went 32-4, earned both the GLVC Championship and their fourth berth to the national semifinals in seven years, the Knights return as one of the nation’s top teams for the upcoming season.

Over the course of the preseason, Bellarmine has been ranked No. 3 in the country by the NABC and Basketball Times, No. 4 by Street & Smith’s Division II Small College Report, and No. 6 by Division II Bulletin.

In addition to the Knights, the University of Indianapolis also received recognition in select preseason polls this year.  The Greyhounds are ranked 15th by Basketball Times and 19th by Street & Smith’s.  They are receiving votes outside the NABC Top 25.
