Three GLVC programs are represented in this week's edition of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Poll, it was announced Tuesday.

Bellarmine University (6-0) maintained its position at No. 3, while picking one of the 16 first-place votes.  Last week, the Knights picked up road wins at Wayne State (Mich.) and then-No. 8 Barry before knocking off Lynn University in a neutral site game at the Cesar Odio Thanksgiving Classic.

The University of Indianapolis (4-1) and William Jewell College (7-0) are receiving votes outside the top 25.  Earning just one vote in the poll was still quite the milestone for the Cardinals as it marked Jewell's first recognition in the poll in program history.

All three teams will be in GLVC action this week.  The Cardinals open GLVC play on Thursday evening as they host Maryville at 7:30 p.m. followed by a matchup with defending GLVC West Champions Quincy on Saturday at 1 p.m.  UIndy travels to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off before returning to Indianapolis to host University of Southern Indiana at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.  Bellarmine opens at home against hosting Lewis University on Saturday.
