The first full week of GLVC women's basketball action for the 2017-18 season is upon us. UW-Parkside did begin the season last week out in California, but fell in all three of its contests. This week, the majority of the programs will play in a GLVC/GLIAC or GLVC/G-MAC Challenge with some league teams hosting the regional opponents. Bellarmine, Indianapolis, Lewis, Maryville, Missouri-St. Louis and Southern Indiana get that responsibility, while the others will be on the road for the challenge. Missouri S&T will also host games with Illinois Springfield, LeMoyne-Owen and regional foe Purdue Northwest making a visit to Rolla. Drury and Quincy will visit Nashville for the challenge, while Parkside is traveling to Cedarville, Ohio.
