INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference has two league teams ranked in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Poll, it was announced Tuesday (Dec. 5).

No. 7 Drury (7-1) improved its place in the poll, up from No. 9, after winning both of its GLVC-opening games last week against Missouri-St. Louis and McKendree, while Southern Indiana (8-0) continued its undefeated streak with a 2-0 start in league play, as well. After eight consecutive wins, the Screaming Eagles finally moved into the top-25 list at No. 22 and are one of 11 unbeatens in the poll.
