Missouri S&T waited out two delays to defeat Truman State in Kirksville, 27-11.  It was a game that was delayed for two hours and 45 minutes at the start due to lightning, then stopped again for another 16 minutes in the third quarter when the stadium lights went out in the middle of a Miner running play.  The game started at 9:45 p.m. due to the early delays and ended a few minutes short of 1 a.m. with the Miners in the win column for the first time in 2017.

In other conference action, Quincy earned a 7-3 victory over Lincoln in the second-lowest scoring affair in league history.  Saint Joseph's scored a 6-3 win at Truman State on Nov. 9, 2013.  Lincoln managed to gain 282 yards of total offense compared to just 189 for QU.

The GLVC split non-conference battles Saturday as McKendree scored a 24-21 victory at Hillsdale, while William Jewell fell 55-17 at home to Findlay.  McKendree senior running back Shayeen Edwards rushed for a game-high 100 yards, which included a 20-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.  The Oilers controlled the clock for most of the game keeping Jewell's offense on the sidelines in gaining 367 yards rushing.  Findlay led the time of possession battle 40:52 to 19:08.
