Sixteen GLVC men's basketball non-conference games spanning four days are on the docket this week, including six contests on Tuesday.  Five of those games will take place on GLVC campuses as Indianapolis, Lewis, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis and William Jewell will look to defend their home court.  Truman State is the lone team on the road Tuesday, as the Bulldogs head to Missouri Southern State.  In fact, only one other game this week -- Friday's McKendree versus East Central tilt -- will be played away from campus.  The remaining nine matchups will be from GLVC campuses, meaning GLVCSN will stream 14 of the 16 games this week across all platforms, including GLVCSN.com, the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps, and GLVCSN OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV.

The Cardinal offense was firing on all cylinders to earn Jewell its third win of the season by a final score of 94-58. Elsewhere, Indianapolis, Missouri S&T and Truman State were in action, while the Lewis and Indiana Northwest matchup was canceled.

Chris Hamil knocked down a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:40 left to lead Rockhurst to a 75-69 victory over Benedictine Wednesday night in front of a near sellout crowd at Mason-Halpin Field House.  Hamil's 3-pointer gave the Hawks a 70-67 lead in a game that featured 10 lead changes. Curtis Lewis hit a driving layup to put Rockhurst in front 72-67 with 51 seconds remaining and the Hawks hit 3-of-4 free throws in the final 21 seconds.  McKendree registered a season-high in points on its way to a 96-84 win at the Statham Center against Blackburn College.  The Bearcats, who made just 1-of-8 attempts from the free throw line in the first half, reversed their fortunes to hit 25-of-27 shots from the charity stripe in the final 20 minutes to pull away for the win. In fact, McKendree connected on its final 18 shots from the line and finished the night shooting 74.3 percent (26-of-35).

Drury sophomore Conley Garrison scored a career-high 36 points while senior guard Allen Billinger added 23 as the Panthers defeated Central Christian (Kan.) 100-78 on Friday night at the O'Reilly Familly Event Center. Three days after its four-game winning streak was snapped, Truman State took out the frustration from that defeat on Central Christian College of the Bible Friday night inside Pershing Arena. The Bulldogs made quick work of the Saints to the tune of 118-47 on the eve of their exhibition trip to Division I Indiana State.  It took overtime, but Missouri-St. Louis was able to notch an 81-77 win over visiting Hannibal LaGrange on Friday night.  Redshirt junior Jason Towery picked up his first double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Johnathan Matthews scored a team-high 23 points, five of which came in the extra period.  Lewis' game scheduled with Indiana Northwest has been postponed with the potential of a makeup date later this season.

No. 1 Bellarmine rolled to an 87-52 victory over visiting Christian Brothers on Saturday at Knights Hall in a non-conference NCAA Division II game.  Bellarmine extended its home court winning streak to 60 games as preseason All-American Adam Eberhard finished just two assists shy of a triple double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.  Jerome Davis tallied his first career double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds as Maryville cruised to a 106-47 win over Lindenwood-Belleville. The Saints hit their first 10 shots of the game and finished with a 62.9 percent field goal percentage (39-of-62). The 106 points scored are the fifth most in school history. Maryville did not miss a shot over the first eight minutes and 13 seconds of the game. William Jewell put up the highest point total in a single game in the NCAA era to down Kansas Christian 123-75. The 123 point output surpasses the 118 points the Cardinals scored against Baptist Bible College back on November 22, 2011 to break the NCAA era record.  Quincy held off a tough Hannibal-LaGrange team for a 72-70 win.  The Hawks front court of Ryan Briscoe, Jah-Kobe Womack, and Demetrius Houston combined for 46 of the Hawks 72 points.  McKendree was defeated at East Central, 81-72.
