Tournament Bracket
SPRINGEIELD, Mo. – Semifinal action for the 2018 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament has been set for Saturday, following four quarterfinal matches on Friday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri. Three of the four higher seeded teams advanced to the semifinals, including Drury University, Lewis University, and University of Indianapolis, while University of Southern Indiana moved on with an upset win.
Indianapolis, the top seed in the East, shutout the West’s fourth seed Rockhurst University, 5-0, in Match #1 for the day's only sweep.
The West’s top seed Drury scored a 5-1 win over No. 4 East McKendree in Match #3, as the Bearcats got the only point at #2 singles from Ben Muller. In Match #4, No. 2 East Lewis also won 5-1 over No. 3 West Maryville. The Saints’ Louis Glaves won 6-2, 6-4 at #3 singles to avoid the shutout.
Match #2 saw #3E USI upset #2W UMSL, 5-2, earning all three doubles points with wins at #3 and #4 singles as well.
The Greyhounds will now meet the Screaming Eagles and the Panthers will face the Flyers in Saturday’s semifinals, as both matches will begin at 10 a.m. CT. Streaming on the GLVC Sports Network will occur for the Drury-Lewis matchup on

Semifinal winners will advance to Sunday’s championship contest, with the start time set for 9 a.m.
