GLVC men's basketball action returns to the court for another full slate of league play this week, but first Lewis will host a non-conference matchup against Indiana Northwest on Wednesday. The following night, six GLVC games are scheduled with Illinois Springfield, McKendree, Quincy, Rockhurst, Truman State and William Jewell hosting play. Top-ranked Bellarmine and Southern Indiana head to the other side of the GLVC footprint as the Knights will take on William Jewell and Rockhurst. Drury and McKendree will meet in Lebanon, Illinois on Thursday after both teams are coming off impressive GLVC wins. The Panthers defeated Lewis 93-54 on Saturday, while the Bearcats got the best of UMSL on Sunday, 92-67.

The Flyers (11-3) led wire-to-wire and all 12 players scored in the contest, led by Kendale McCullum with 18 points. Lewis recorded season-highs in points (108), field goals made (45), matched its season-high of 11 three-pointers made, rebounds (48), assists (25) and field goal percentage (.600).

Alex Cook netted 24 points and Adam Eberhard recorded 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists to help top-ranked Bellarmine score an 85-65 victory at William Jewell Thursday night. The Knights move to 15-0 overall and 6-0 in GLVC play. Missouri-St. Louis erased a nine-point halftime deficit en route to claiming a 61-58 victory at Truman State. UMSL sophomore Anthony Hughes scored 12 points to lead the Tritons. Alex Stein put up 26 points to give Southern Indiana its third straight win in a 78-59 victory at Rockhurst. Illinois Springfield used a 42-22 edge in points in the paint and saw Cole Harper record 13 points and 12 rebounds in an 80-58 victory over Missouri S&T. Drury boasted two double-figure scorers off the bench in the Panthers' 72-60 win at McKendree. Four players found double figures in Quincy's 73-71 home win over Maryvile, giving the Hawks their second GLVC victory of the season.

It was a high-scoring night of GLVC men's basketball with seven total teams scoring more than 80 points on Saturday. All-American Adam Eberhard poured in a career-high 33 points to help top-ranked Bellarmine improve to 16-0 with a tough 82-71 road win at Rockhurst. Casey Teson posted a career-high 38 points and Chaz Glotta sank a crucial 3-pointer in the final minute as Maryville scored the final seven points to defeat Truman State 85-78. Teson's total is tied for the most in the Division II era and tied for the fifth highest in program history. Delaney Blaylock poured in a career-high 33 points and Kendale McCullum finished one rebound shy of a triple-double (21 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds) in Lewis' 99-70 win at Indianapolis. The victory for the Flyers was their first over the Greyhounds at Nicoson Hall since a 69-67 win on Feb. 26, 2011. Southern Indiana had to withstand a second half run by William Jewell to post a 98-79 victory. Kobe Caldwell added 11 points in the second half and finished with a season-high 29 points. A three-pointer by Bahari Amaya with 10.4 seconds remaining capped a big comeback for Illinois Springfield in an 88-87 home win over Drury. Amaya finished with a career-high 24 points, with 18 of those coming in the second half and eight coming in the final four minutes. McKendree's Nolan Gerling led all scorers with 25 points and Logan Kohrmann added 20, but Missouri S&T was able to snap an 11-game skid with a 72-69 win in Lebanon. Johnathan Matthews posted 22 points to help UMSL past Quincy, 83-74.
