One non-conference game begins the week on Tuesday before GLVC action returns to the court Thursday and Saturday with six and seven games, respectively. Lewis will welcome Central State to open the week before evening games open the league slate two days later. Headlining the first six contests will be No. 24 Truman's (3-1) visit to Southern Indiana (3-0), as USI is tied for first place in the current standings and Truman follows close behind in fourth. Saturday's feature will pit No. 20 Lewis at No. 4 Drury in a top-25 battle, both of which are unbeaten in Conference action and on respective 11- and 13-game win streaks.

In a top-25 battle, it was third-ranked Drury that came away with the edge by just three points, stealing Lewis' in-bounds pass with less than 3-seconds on the clock to defeat the 17th-ranked flyers, 69-66, and halt their 14-game win streak. With the win, the Panthers move into sole possession of first place in league standings and remain the last unbeaten team in league play, while they also maintain an unblemished 15-0 overall record. It was Hailey Diestelkamp – playing all but two minutes of action – who led the way for Drury with 28 points and 15 rebounds, adding five steals and three assists. Southern Indiana was the only other home team to win, having no trouble with Quincy for the 75-49 victory. On the road, Truman State beat Bellarmine, 65-49, Maryville topped Illinois Springfield, 80-66, and William Jewell got the best of cross-town rival Rockhurst, 72-51. The Saints had four in double figures, including Kayla Steward's game-high 21 points, while the Cardinals had the same scoring output with Kiara Bradley tallying a game-high 24. Elsewhere, Missouri S&T postponed the contest against Indianapolis due to inclement weather and Missouri-St. Louis will visit McKendree tomorrow instead for the same reason.
