INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University sophomore distance runner John Partee and Missouri S&T sophomore thrower Jarrett Johnson have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Friday.

- Ran 800 meters in an NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 1 minute, 50.97 seconds to finish 35th at Azusa Pacific’s Bryan Clay Invitational
- Effort leads the GLVC by nearly two seconds and is currently 16th in NCAA DII
- Second career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor

- Improved upon his NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the javelin by eclipsing the 60-meter mark for the first time in his career with a throw of 60.66m (199’0”)
- Mark is ranked first in the GLVC by more than six meters and 18th in NCAA Division II
- First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
