The Flyers secured their eighth overall title with a win in the 4x400-meter relay finale to total 141 points on the weekend, 13 points more than runner-up Southwest Baptist University, which was competing in its very first GLVC Championship.

Host Indianapolis followed closely behind in third with 125.5 points, while McKendree University (64), Maryville University (61), University of Southern Indiana (40), Lindenwood University (28), University of Illinois Springfield (25), Bellarmine University (22) and Truman State University (9.5) rounded out the top 10.  William Jewell College (8) and Drury University (5) were 11th and 12th, respectively, and Missouri S&T (4) and Quincy University (2) closed out the 14-team field.

At the conclusion of the event, UIndy junior Berenice Cleyet-Merle was voted by the league coaches as GLVC Track Athlete of the Year, while Maryville junior Casey Berberich and McKendree senior Tsitsi Mahachi shared the GLVC Field Athlete of the Year award.  McKendree newcomer Laila Graham was named GLVC Freshman of the Year and Lewis mentor Dana Schwarting was recognized by his peers as GLVC Coach of the Year.

Each event winner was named first-team All-Conference, while runners-up were awarded second-team accolades.
In addition, Southwest Baptist was named the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award winner, while 14 student-athletes were recognized as GLVC James R.
