The current situation sent me and fellow out-of-state and out-of-country teammates home in a hurry.
Financially, none of us were prepared to get in our cars and drive 30 hours home after a meeting. Academically, it has changed entire plans, as some now have to decide if they can remain in courses that are only good when you are actually in the class.
I can say our team is grateful for the way the GLVC has handled such trying times. We will continue to train and remain in shape. I feel horrible for the seniors because regardless of getting the extra year back, they may still not be able to play again due to job offers and other outside influences.
