I had a really rocky transition into college golf. I had several injuries occur and this spring was supposed to be my comeback. I kept saying that this year was not my year. However, I now realize it was nobody's year.
For most athletes, sports have always been an outlet from the real world. I 100 percent support the decision to cancel everything throughout this pandemic. It's all for our health and everyone around us, but it's hard to keep motivated and do schoolwork when I have nothing to look forward to and the country is closed down.
It's terrifying to see these numbers increase everyday and not knowing how long this will last or what the aftermath will be.
