FISHERS, Ind. - The University of Indianapolis held onto its first-round lead Saturday, while Greyhounds sophomore Hunter Nugent and University of Missouri-St. Louis senior Emma Thorngren sit in a tie atop the leaderboard heading into the final round of the 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Golf Championship at The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club in Fishers, Indiana.

Despite the conditions, another 12 individuals carded sub-80 scores on the day, which matched the amount that did so in the first 18 holes.

Greyhounds' Pilar Echeverria (75-77-152) remained in third place, but now holds that position alone, while Lewis' Kasey Kane (78-76-154) and Maryville's Carmen Villaverde (74-80-154) are tied for fourth.
