GLVC Recognizes 2020-21 Academic All-Conference Honorees

Academic All-GLVC List

INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Tuesday that 3,922 student-athletes have garnered Academic All-GLVC distinction for the 2020-21 season.

The Academic All-GLVC honor is bestowed upon student-athletes who meet a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over two semesters of an academic year at the institution.

The list of honorees features students from the following sports: baseball (412), men’s basketball (98), women’s basketball (153), women’s bowling (44), men’s cross country (144), women’s cross country (147), football (275), men’s golf (116), women’s golf (110), men’s lacrosse (130), women’s lacrosse (133), men’s soccer (300), women’s soccer (328), softball (254), men’s swimming and diving (157), women’s swimming and diving (140), men’s tennis (90), women’s tennis (89), men’s track and field (228), women’s track and field (263), volleyball (206), and wrestling (105).

Not counting the 20 honorees from men’s lacrosse (12) and wrestling (8) associate member Davenport University, the 11 selections from wrestling associate member Ouachita Baptist University, the 10 winners from women’s lacrosse associate member Missouri Western State University, as well as the 14 recipients from women’s bowling associate members University of Central Missouri (8) and Upper Iowa University (6), the 3,864 honorees from 15 full-time GLVC members averaged out to 258 selections per school, which broke last season’s record average of 247. Over the course of the last five years, the per-school record averages have been 151 (2014-15), 160 (2015-16), 184 (2016-17), 190 (2017-18), 193 (2018-19), and 247 (2019-20).
