INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.The University of Missouri-Rolla’s Tavish Hill (Bunker Hill, Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Hill threw six shutout innings for the Miners in their 13-2 win over Truman State on Feb. 23. The senior righthander allowed just one hit and one walk in the outing.

 

He struck out three and provided the team with its third straight win.

 

Hill is 1-1 on the year and boasts a 0.75 earned run average. He leads the Miners in innings pitched (12) while striking out three in two appearances.

 

Missouri-Rolla (3-3) will host Maryville on Feb. 28.

 

Other top performances in the GLVC last week included Drury’s Tyler Goss, Missouri-Rolla’s Joe Montgomery, Northern Kentucky’s Kevin Dusold and Matt Marksbury (pitcher), Southern Indiana’s Jeremy Kehrt (pitcher) and UIndy’s Aryn Ross.
