Edmonds amassed 10 catches, 169 yards and two touchdowns, including his 27th career TD reception to set a new school record during UIndy's 45-15 victory over McKendree last Saturday night. The Waukegan, Ill., native had touchdown receptions of 12 and 25 yards on the night, with the former snapping one of the longest-held school records in any of UIndy's 21 varsity sports. The previous mark of 26 career touchdown catches was set by UIndy Hall-of-Famer Dick Nyers back in 1955. Edmonds now has eight 100-yard receiving games as a Greyhound, including one in each of the last two weeks. He averages 106 receiving yards and seven catches per game, good for third and fourth in the GLVC, respectively. Edmonds collects his first career GLVC weekly honor and becomes the second Greyhound in as many weeks honored by the league as Klay Fiechter picked up Offensive Player of the Week accolades last Monday.
