Wilson accounted for 497 of Central State’s 532 yards of total offense in a 23-21 victory at William Jewell College on Saturday to help the Marauders to their second victory of the season and move into third in GLVC play at 2-1.  The Landover, Md., native was 28-of-54 passing for 353 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, while netting 140 yards on the ground, including a 60-yard run to set up a 1-yard TD by teammate Kentrail Hollingsworth in the third quarter.  Wilson’s efforts shattered the conference best for total yards, which was previously held by Urbana’s D.J. Mendenhall at 359 markers.  He also crushed his own conference record for total offensive plays with 75 touches, besting his previous GLVC mark of 62 plays.  This is the first weekly conference award for Wilson and the second for Central State this season as Darius Wilson was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17.
