Edmonds broke one school record and tied another one with an impressive effort in a 45-13 victory over Central State Saturday night. After setting personal bests with 14 catches and 212 receiving yards, the 6-2 wideout became UIndy's all-time leader in career receptions while also becoming the first Greyhound to surpass 200 career catches. In addition, his 14 receptions on the night tied the program's single-record mark. The Waukegan, Ill., native had three touchdowns on the evening, the first of which went for 47 yards. He also scored from 28 yards and three yards out. Averaging over 15 yards per catch versus CSU, 12 of Edmonds' 14 catches were good for either a first down or a touchdown. The weekly honor is Edmonds’ second of the season, having also been named Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 24.
