Vath was instrumental for the Quincy defense in Saturday's 38-19 win over McKendree. The Brandon, Fla., native made a team-high 11 tackles, including eight solo stops and one for a loss, while also forcing a fumble that led to Quincy's final score of the game. The Hawks limited the Bearcats to 258 yards of total offense with just 24 passing yards. This is the first weekly honor for the Quincy football program.
