On Friday, the Milwaukee, Wis., native stopped three shots in a 1-1 draw with No. 18 William Jewell, only to return to the pitch Sunday and stop eight saves in a 1-1 tie at No. 13 Rockhurst. The eight stops against the Hawks were the second most in her career. With the two ties, Bellarmine improved to 9-2-2 on the year and 7-2-2 in conference play, leaving the Knights tied for fourth with UW-Parkside (8-3-0) in terms of conference winning percentage. The ties also left league-leader Rockhurst with a 9-0-3 mark, while second-place William Jewell moved to 9-1-2. This is the first weekly honor for Kunowski and the first for a Bellarmine player since Abby Janszen was recognized last year on Sept. 26.
