Wilson played a major role in the Bearcats’ 34-13 home victory against Central State.  The Country Club Hills, Ill., native led the McKendree defense with nine tackles, including seven solo, and added a pair of interceptions, accounting for two of McKendree’s five takeaways in the contest. He also broke up three pass attempts for the Bearcats. This is the second game this season that Wilson has intercepted two passes.  In addition, Wilson now has five interceptions on the season, which ties the Bearcats’ single-season mark.  He has now earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this year as he was also tabbed on Sept. 10.  Teammate Sherrod Stancil was McKendree’s other Defensive Player of the Week award winner having been named on Oct. 8.
