Lewis University senior Kamille Ferguson and William Jewell College junior Sarah Stadnik were picked as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, on Wednesday.  The tandem was selected by the conference coaches as the first weekly honorees of the 2013 indoor season.

Ferguson sprinted to an NCAA provisional time of 7.23 seconds in the prelims of the 55-meter dash Friday night at the Lewis Open.  She came back with another provisional mark in the finals, coming in second with a time of 7.24.

A native of Chicago, Ill., Ferguson earns the first weekly honor of her career, and is the first Flyer to be recognized by the conference since Samantha Linck was named Field Athlete of the Week on Feb. 22, 2012.
