Lewis University senior Kamille Ferguson and William Jewell College junior Sarah Stadnik were picked as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, on Wednesday.  The tandem was selected by the conference coaches as the first weekly honorees of the 2013 indoor season.

Stadnik won the women’s weight throw at the Missouri Southern Invitational over the weekend.  Her mark of 15.42 meters (50-07.25) was a personal best and places her second on the GLVC performance list for the season. 

The Nixa, Mo., native, who bested 17 others in the field, is the first Cardinal in the program track and field history to be honored with a weekly award by the conference.
