Lewis University senior Kamille Ferguson and McKendree University senior Kristin Wykoff were picked Wednesday as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Wykoff garners the first-ever track and field weekly honor for McKendree, which is participating in its first year of GLVC competition.  The Highland, Ill., native threw a school record 15.54 meters (51’) in the weight throw this past weekend at the Knox College Open in Galesburg, Ill.  Her heave is currently ranked third among conference throwers this season.
