Drury University senior guard Alex Hall has been named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week of the 2012-13 season, it was announced by the league office Monday.  Hall closed out the regular season in style with a 33-point effort in an 81-60 victory over Missouri S&T last Thursday.

The Springfield, Mo., native finished 6-of-9 (.667) from the floor, with all six field goals coming beyond the arc.  Hall was a perfect 6-of-6 (1.000) from the perimeter to go along with a stellar 15-of-17 (.882) effort from the free-throw line.  In addition to his outside range and ability to draw fouls, Hall recorded three rebounds and one steal in 33 minutes of play.

This is the fourth career weekly award for Hall and the third this year.  He was first recognized by the league on Nov. 23, 2009 and then honored on Dec. 10 and Feb. 11 this season.

Top-seed and GLVC West Division Champion Drury (22-4, 16-2) will face No. 8 Indianapolis (20-7, 11-7) on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. CT, in quarterfinal action of the 2013 Deaconess GLVC Basketball Championship Tournament.
