INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.Saint Joseph’s College’s Eric Kramer is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Male Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. The senior athlete captured first-place in two events and collected a national qualifying time in the 110 meter hurdles at the Gerald England Invitational hosted by the University of Indianapolis on Mar. 24.

 

Kramer won the 110 meter hurdles by running the event in 14.35 seconds. His time, which was posted in a headwind, was a new Saint Joseph’s school record.

 

He also claimed the high jump at the invitational by clearing 1.87 meters.

 

Kramer completed his strong day by placing sixth in the 440 meter hurdles and seventh in the javelin.

 

He leads the GLVC with the best 110 meter hurdle time this outdoor season.

 

The Pumas will return to action at the Gene and Rose Edmonds Invitational in Rensselaer, Indiana on Mar. 31.

 

Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Northern Kentucky’s Adam Stoppelwerth and UIndy’s Anthony Flournoy.
