Lauren HatterIndianapolis, Ind. – Lewis University’s Lauren Hatter (Avon, Ind./Avon) is the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. The sophomore libero helped the Flyers register two GLVC wins last week.
Hatter put together back-to-back 30-dig performances as the Flyers defeated Saint Joseph’s College, 3-1 (25-30, 30-26, 32-30, 30-25), on Sept. 29 and regionally-ranked Indianapolis, 3-1 (31-33, 32-30, 30-27, 30-22), on Sept. 30.

Against Saint Joseph’s, Hatter collected a career-high 33 digs, the highest four-game dig total in the GLVC this season. The following night at Indianapolis, Hatter amassed 30 digs, giving her a 7.88 digs-per-game average for the week.

For the season, Hatter ranks fifth in the conference with a 4.59 digs-per-game average. She has reached the 30-dig mark three times and, as a result, owns the conference’s top three dig totals in four-game matches.

The Flyers have won five straight matches and 11 of their last 12. Lewis is 13-4 overall and currently in second place in the GLVC at 7-1.

The Flyers will return to action against visiting University of Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 6 and Quincy University on Oct. 7.
