INDIANAPOLIS – Rockhurst University senior forward Mark Magee and Bellarmine University junior goalkeeper Blake Hunter have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference men’s soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Magee earns his third offensive accolade from the conference office in four weeks after leading his 16th-ranked Hawks to impressive road wins at Truman State and Quincy this past week.  The Evesham, England, native scored goals in both of Rockhurst’s victories, including the first netter in a 2-1 win at Truman State on Friday, and the second goal in a 2-0 win at Quincy.  Magee, who is the GLVC leader in points (17) and goals (7), was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 16 and 23 of this year and previously had won the award on Oct. 22, 2012 and Oct. 3, 2011.
