Missouri S&T junior Ethan Goldfarb and Lewis University freshman Kara Treacy have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office Tuesday following a vote from the conference's head coaches.

In the Flyers' dual meet at No. 15 Grand Valley State this past Saturday, Treacy finished first and collected a lifetime-best in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:41.14.  The Corpus Christi, Texas, native also reached the podium in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:16.23.  The weekly honor is the first of Treacy's career and the first for a Flyer since Shannon Sullivan was recognized by the league on Oct. 22.
