Missouri S&T junior wide receiver Melvin Stovall and Saint Joseph's College junior linebacker Gary Yeoman and sophomore kicker Gavin Voss have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week, it was announced by the league office Monday.  Stovall was named Offensive Player of the Week, Yeoman was picked as Defensive Player of the Week, while Voss was selected as Special Teams Player of the Week.

Yeoman filled up the stat sheet Saturday in the Pumas' 6-3 road victory at Truman State, which was unbeaten in conference play heading into the game.  The Mishawaka, Ind., native made nine tackles on the day, 2.5 for a loss, a sack, recorded an interception with a 4-yard return, and forced one fumble late in the game that led to the go-ahead field goal.  Yeoman currently leads the conference with 8.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss on the season.  This is his second career award as the first weekly honor came a month ago on Oct. 14 when he became the first SJC defender to ever win the accolade.
