Missouri S&T junior wide receiver Melvin Stovall and Saint Joseph's College junior linebacker Gary Yeoman and sophomore kicker Gavin Voss have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week, it was announced by the league office Monday.  Stovall was named Offensive Player of the Week, Yeoman was picked as Defensive Player of the Week, while Voss was selected as Special Teams Player of the Week.

Stovall had eight receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown and finished a 31-21 win over McKendree with 166 all-purpose yards this past Saturday.  He had a 35-yard kickoff return following McKendree's opening touchdown to begin the Miners' first scoring drive of the contest, then had three receptions on S&T's first touchdown drive of the second half, which ended with his 26-yard touchdown reception.  The eight catches gave Stovall a league-high 62 receptions on the season, the most ever by a first-year player in Missouri S&T history.  It was also his fourth game of the year with at least 100 yards in receptions.  This is the first weekly honor for the Los Angeles, Calif., native and the first for an S&T offensive player since Zenel Hudson was recognized by the league on Sept. 23.
