University of Missouri-St. Louis junior golfer Bailey Hopper has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Player of the Month for October, following a vote from the league's head coaches.
 
Hopper recorded a second-place finish individually in the Tritons' lone event of the month, while helping UMSL to the team title.
 
Hopper shot a season-best 152 (78-74) at the Oak Terrace Fall Invitational, hosted by the Tritons on Oct. 12-13, at the Oak Terrace Resort & Spa in Pana, Ill. Her efforts helped UMSL to a team score of 630 (312-318) in the 11-team field, the Tritons' second team title of the fall season.
 
This is Hopper's first monthly honor from the conference and the second straight for the Tritons with teammate Tayler Hoag being recognized in September.
