Binkerd and Bruggeman guided UIndy to a 3-0 record with wins against Saint Joseph’s (3-0), Southern Indiana (3-0), and Bellarmine (3-1) last week, which earned the Greyhounds the East No. 2 seed at this week’s GLVC Volleyball Championship Tournament.
 
Bruggeman claims her first league honor and continues to lead UIndy on both sides of the ball as she collected 41 kills and 41 digs over the week.  She averaged 4.10 kills and digs per set over the three matches, and accounted for seven total blocks.  The St. Henry, Ohio, native had 15 kills and hit .312 in the sweep over the Pumas.  She also had 14 digs and two solo blocks.  Against the Screaming Eagles, Bruggeman finished with 13 kills, 12 digs, two block assists, and a block in the sweep.  In the final regular season match, she tallied 13 kills and 15 digs, to go along with two block assists in the 3-1 win over the Knights.  The three double-doubles moved her season total to 15.  Her 10 in-conference double-doubles are tied for second highest in the league.  UIndy leads the league with 13.70 kills per set, and Bruggeman is second in kills (320) and kills per set (2.86).  Bruggeman lead the Greyhounds in digs (358) and is second in digs per set (3.20), pacing UIndy to the fourth-highest digs per-set average in the conference (17.41).
