Missouri S&T senior sprinter Adriel Hawkins and Lewis University sophomore jumper Isaac Jean-Paul have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, it was announced on Wednesday.

In his first meet as a Flyer, Jean-Paul jumped an NCAA provisional height of 2.10 meters (6'10.5") in the high jump at Saturday's Wildcat Indoor Invitational, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.  His jump ranks him first in the GLVC and tied for fifth in the country.

The Gurnee, Ill., native is the third consecutive Flyer to earn GLVC Field Athlete of the Week as Adam Barr (Jan. 15) and Matthew Simmons (Jan. 22) have been honored over the past two weeks.  This is Jean-Paul's first career weekly accolade.
