INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University junior distance specialist Matt Jemilo and University of Indianapolis senior thrower T.J. Lovejoy have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, it was announced on Wednesday.

Lovejoy improved upon his NCAA qualifying mark in the weight throw as the top collegiate athlete at the Tom Hathaway Challenge this past weekend.  His effort of 18.59 meters ranks second among GLVC competitors and among the top 15 nationally.

A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Lovejoy earns his first indoor weekly accolade and is the first Greyhound honored since Josh Bass was named GLVC Field Athlete of the Week on Feb. 5, 2014.
