INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University junior distance specialist Matt Jemilo and University of Indianapolis senior thrower T.J. Lovejoy have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, it was announced on Wednesday.

Jemilo won the Chicagoland Championships this past Saturday with an NCAA Provisional time of 1:52.81 in the 800 meters.  His time ranks seventh nationally and is currently tops in the GLVC.

The Tinley Park, Ill., native earns the first weekly honor of his indoor career and is the first Flyer to be recognized by the league since Andrew McLain on Dec. 11, 2013.
