INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University senior multi-event specialist Megan Marchildon and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Tatiana Zhuravleva have been respectively named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2013-14 season, it was announced on Tuesday.

Zhuravleva won the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 14.25 meters at the Ohio State Tune-Up meet this past Friday, beating some of the top competitors from the Big Ten Conference and fellow Division II regional league Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  She also finished third in the 20-pound weight throw with a best of 17.96 meters.  Zhuravleva is ranked first in the shot and weight leading into this week's GLVC Championships.

A native of Kaze, Russia, Zhuravleva garners her second-straight and third overall weekly award, as she was first honored on Jan. 29, 2014.
