INDIANAPOLIS – Bellarmine University senior distance runner Robert Sandlin, Jr., and Missouri S&T junior pole vaulter Ryan McGuire have been respectively named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2013-14 season, it was announced on Tuesday.

McGuire won the pole vault at the University of Missouri Collegiate Challenge last weekend with an NCAA provisional mark of 16-04.00.  The height ranks him first in the GLVC and seventh nationally. 

The award marks the Hobart, Ind., native's third honor of his career.  He was honored with last season's final weekly award on Feb. 20, 2013, as well as this season's first accolade on Dec. 11, 2013.
