INDIANAPOLIS – Bellarmine University senior distance runner Robert Sandlin, Jr., and Missouri S&T junior pole vaulter Ryan McGuire have been respectively named the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week of the 2013-14 season, it was announced on Tuesday.

Sandlin finished 13th in the 1,500 meters at the USA Track & Field Indoor National Championship in Albuquerque, N.M., with a time of 3:51.49.  He is ranked first overall among GLVC milers and third in NCAA Division II.

The Frankfort, Ky., native earns his fifth weekly honor of his indoor career as he was also recognized on Feb. 12 and Jan. 22, 2014, as well as Feb. 13, and Jan. 16, 2013.
