INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.The University of Southern Indiana’s Cory Julian (Lynnville, Ind.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week.

  

Julian, a junior southpaw, threw his first shutout of the year and collected his fourth complete game in Southern Indiana’s 4-0 win over the University of Indianapolis on April 29.

 

He scattered six hits and struck out six Greyhound batters to earn the victory, his fifth of the season.

 

Overall, Julian is 5-2 on the year with a 2.06 earned run average. He is second on the team with 42 strikeouts and has worked 70 innings for the Eagles this season.

 

Southern Indiana (35-16) is 23-12 in the GLVC and will return to action at Bellarmine on May 1.
