Truman State University junior outfielder Jarod Hahn and Saint Joseph's College sophomore pitcher Brian Bayliss, Jr., have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday.

Hahn hit safely in seven of his eight games last week, while five were multi-hit outings.  He was 14-for-23 (.609) from the plate with 10 runs batted in, three doubles, seven runs scored and a home run. He had an .870 slugging percentage and with three walks and three HBPs, and boasted a .690 on-base percentage.  Hahn was 4-for-6 in two non-conference games at Bellarmine last Monday, was 5-for-7 in last Tuesday's doubleheader at Southwest Baptist, and 5-for-10 while helping the Bulldogs to a 3-1 record against UW-Parkside to start conference play.

This is the first time in Truman's brief history in the league the Bulldogs have earned a weekly honor in the sport.
