Cook, Jr., helped lead the Cardinals to their first victory of 2014 over GLVC member Southwest Baptist in a thrilling 29-26 come-from-behind victory last Saturday.  With the Cardinals trailing and just four minutes remaining in the game, Cook, Jr., took the SBU kickoff back 90 yards for the game-winning score.  He totaled 102 kickoff return yards on the night to go with 29 punt return yards on four attempts.  Coupled with his 114 yards rushing on 24 carries and 2 touchdowns, and his five catches for 12 yards, Cook totaled 257 all-purpose yards – the seventh-highest output in conference history.  This is Cook’s third career weekly honor and second as a special teams honoree.  He was first given that honor on Oct. 22, 2012 and was later named Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 28, 2013.
