INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis sophomore linebacker Rob Dury, Lincoln University senior running back Morris Henderson, and Saint Joseph’s College redshirt sophomore kicker Marcin Gawlak have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Henderson was tabbed GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, Dury was picked Defensive Player of the Week, while Gawlak was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Dury led a Greyhound defense that held the nation’s No. 2 passing offense to just 157 yards through the air Saturday in UIndy’s 48-14 win at Southwest Baptist.  The Indianapolis, Indiana, native amassed a game-high 13 tackles, including one-and-a-half for a loss, and was also credited with a pass break up.  Dury, who ranks third in the GLVC in tackles per game (11.7), earns his first career weekly honor and is the first UIndy defender to claim the award since John Strickland took the season’s first award on Sept. 8.
