INDIANAPOLIS – Bellarmine University freshmen Luke Dobson and Olivia Hoskins have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in the sports of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Monday.

This is the second time Bellarmine has swept the weekly honors as Christian Taylor and Caroline Smith were both recognized on Feb. 5, 2014 – last season’s final weekly award.

Hoskins helped the Knights to a team title at the Asbury University Kick-Off Invite by winning both the 100- (1:00.12) and 200 (2:12.12) Butterfly events, the last of which resulted in a new pool record.  A native of LaGrange, Kentucky, Hoskins also touched the wall first in the 200 Individual Medley (2:11.69) en route to the first weekly honor of her career.

Bellarmine returns to the pool on Oct. 25 as the Knights will go crosstown to the University of Louisville to host Indianapolis in the Greyhounds’ season opener.
