Ripp led a highly-effective Greyhound rushing attack in last week's come-from-behind 23-20 road win at Truman State, as he accounted for 186 of the team's season-high 334 rushing yards.  His performance set a new person best for rushing yards and was good for the eighth-highest total in GLVC history.  Ripp, who averaged 8.1 yards on 23 carries, set the tone early with a 17-yard run on the game's first play from scrimmage.  The Fishers, Indiana, native went on to finish with 11 first downs on the day, two more than Truman managed as a team.  His biggest play – and perhaps the biggest of the game – came in the fourth quarter when he broke off the longest offensive play by a Greyhound this season, a 70-yard jaunt that tied the score at 20 apiece.  Ripp finished with five rushes of 10 yards or more, not counting a 61-yard dash that was called back.  He also added 22 receiving yards on three catches and 25 kickoff return yards, bringing his all-purpose total to 233.  The award is Ripp's first of his career and he is also the first Greyhound to win GLVC Offensive Player of the Week since quarterback Connor Barthel was recognized nearly a year ago on Oct. 21, 2013.
