INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference has named Truman State's sophomore outside hitter Kayla Bastian and senior libero Abby Moser as its Baden Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Bastian and Moser guided Truman State to a 3-0 record at the seventh annual Mizuno GLVC/GLIAC Volleyball Crossover Tournament with wins against Findlay (3-0), Ohio Dominican (3-1), and No. 15 Ferris State (3-2), which earned the Bulldogs its 17th consecutive match win.
 
Over the weekend, Bastian the All-Tournament selectee recorded two double-doubles, averaging 4.33 kills, 3.50 digs and 0.58 blocks per set, while hitting .326 in three Truman wins against a trio of GLIAC schools.  Bastian opened the weekend with 15 kills in three sets against GLIAC tournament No. 4 seed Findlay, where she hit .394 on 33 swings to go alongside eight digs and two blocks for 16.5 total points. Then, on Saturday, she notched her second 20+ kill match of the season with a 20-kill, 11-dig double-double in four sets against No. 6 seed Ohio Dominican.  She hit .333 on 54 swings, adding two more blocks and a pair of assists for 21.5 total points.  To close out the tournament,   against the GLIAC's No. 2 seed and AVCA No. 15 Ferris State, Bastian totaled 17 kills and a career-high 23 digs in Truman's five-set victory. She added a career-best three block assists and a career-high three assists for 18.5 total points, as she picked up 18 of her 23 total digs in the final two sets to help Truman leave Aurora as the only top-8 team on either side with a 3-0 record.  On the season, the
