INDIANAPOLIS – Drury University freshman Rodrigo Caceres and sophomore Ariel Xu have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in the sports of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Xu helped the Drury women defeat Missouri State 121-120 with victories in the 50 Free (23.62) and the 100 Free (51.92).  The Shanghai, China, native also anchored the winning 500 Free Relay team (50.96) at Hammons Pool.  This is Xu’s first career weekly award.
